Established in 1950, Muller
& Weigert are today one of Germany’s largest manufacturers of analog and digital
panel meters with a workforce in access of 140, split between two production plants, one
in Magdeburg and the other in Nuremberg.

The achievements of Muller & Weigert were brought home to the founders of the company when in 1972 the giant ITT Corporation of New York made a successful bid for the concern. In 1994, the company become a full subsidiary of General Elekronik GmbH Magdeburg. May 1998 witnessed Muller & Weigert expanding in their own right when they acquired all of the sales, marketing and production rights from the Neuberger Company situated near Munich. At the start of 1999 Muller & Weigert took over Bertram GmbH of Simbach. The foundation of Muller & Weigert is built around a solid management team that understands the needs and demands of its many customers both within the European Community and worldwide. It is this team comprising an innovative sales and marketing section coupled with an outstanding production department design, development and QA that is responsible for the company’s remarkable success. |
